Rugged Fibre Optic Tactical Field Cable System BRUGG MILLE

BRUGG's solution is a hermetically sealed cable boasting a high tensile strength and complete resistance to both natural and chemical attacks.

This new backpack- and vehicle-deployed with 1-2-4 or 8 fibers was designed specifically to provide mobile field units with a tough and durable landline for battlefield communications.

lt comes in useful lengths of 400-2500 meters per drum, assembled with any type of special 'soldier-proof' optical lens or other standard connectors that are assembled in a certified clean room environment.

Several thousand kilometres of the BRUGG MILLE Fiber Optic cables are in service with the Swiss Army, other European-, NATO- and overseas Armed Forces. It has a stock number in the NATO and in Germany, etc.

Domestic and International Interoperability

BRUGG Cables newly developed "NATO Integrator" allows interoperability and plug-and-play capability for mobile communications at all levels in a short time. Patch Panels and Termination Panels are integrated into state-of-the-art system solutions that allow full interoperability with any communications infrastructure.
