Molecular Products is recognised globally for its contribution to sustaining life in confined spaces, such as mine shelters and on board submarines. This is achieved by developing advanced chemical based technologies which purify air allowing a breathable atmosphere to be maintained.
Carbon Dioxide Absorbers
Following the widespread use of CDAU (Carbon Dioxide Absorber Unit) used by the Royal Navy and others it was realised there was a requirement for a successor large scale absorber replacing and improving on the CDAU's capabilities. Once the performance specifications were determined, a concept was developed and it wasn't long before the HiCap™ products evolved.

HiCap™ CO2, pre-filled large absorber cartridge is a sealed cartridge that allows efficient storage and use of Sofnolime®, which has proven capabilities for CO2 absorption. This easily handled unit exhibits higher CO2 capacity than hand filled units and therefore Molecular Products can guarantee minimum CO2 capacity.

HiCap™ CO, in essence performs very similarly but is pre-filled with the well characterised catalyst Moleculite®. This material oxidises toxic CO into much less harmful CO2. Both units are manufactured using high grade polypropylene plastics that do not contain additives likely to give rise to toxic fumes associated with some inhibited materials. Additionally the HiCap™ units protect the user from direct contact with Moleculite® or Sofnolime®.
Widely recognised in the defence community, Molecular Products delivers life saving technology to the Royal Navy and other armed forces and Navies across the globe. Including those in Australia, Canada, the USA, France, India and Singapore. The organisation is committed to offering best value without compromising on quality, delivering outstanding technical solutions based upon a profound understanding of the customer's requirements.
