ATSR (Advanced Training SCT Range)

The ATSR is an automatic range that can be permanent or portable. It combines the SCT technology with state of the art design of the holding apparatus and control center The ATSR is an automatic range that can be permanent or portable and used with a wide variety of regular or pop-up targets.

The ATSR system was developed based on our long-term experience with tactical live ammunition shooting. We investigated the gaps between the available systems and the needs and expectations of Elite Forces, Civil Defense, and other professional shooters. Romtes Technologies developed a training system that matches expectations of accuracy, versatility and ease of use. ATSR is a field proved training system and is used by the Israeli Special Forces, Elite Teams and other forces.

ATSR Distinct Advantages:

ATSR - ARM-102

A distinct feature of the ATRS range is the special grip called the ARM-102. The ARM-102 holds and secures target firmly in place as well as providing the electrical contact so that no matter where the projectile strikes the target, the hit is accurately recorded. Because of its structure, the ARM-102 also enables users of other systems to simply and easily upgrade their existing ranges to a SCT based range. This arm (called the ARM-102) is patented in many countries worldwide.

ATSR-Range Control Station

The control center can be stationary, located at the control room of the range, on a portable computer, or in a remote control unit held by the firearms trainer .The primary functions of the control station are to collect and display hit counts, to show trainee reaction and shooting speed either through an electronic readout or printout, and to control the timing and movement of pop-ups and targets. The control station is versatile, easy to operate, and provides a wide range of options, including:

• Manual or timed operation
• Selection of pre-programmed scenarios or option to create new scenarios
• Wireless or wired control
• Infantry and armor targets
• Several programming options available, including:
  • Select the timing of pop-ups
  • Specify target movement relative to either the number of hits in a specified zone, or the total number of hits
  • Define the length of time a target is concealed/revealed as well as the number of such cycles.
  • Pre-programmed Sound or pyrotechnic activation hits or non hits dependable.
