Combat trousers have to be ultimately hardwearing and able to withstand any abuse the battlefield can throw at them. They also have to be comfortable enough for the wearer to cover large distances and to keep them warm in poor weather conditions. With these purposes in mind, Cooneen Watts and Stone have produced DPM windproof trousers, made from abrasion resistant fabric.

For combat efficiency the trousers feature either a woodland or desert disruptive pattern design to disguise the shape of the soldier to the enemy. They also feature infrared reflectance that helps the trousers to maintain their disrupted pattern properties when viewed through night vision viewing aids. For practicality the trousers feature two thigh pockets and a hip pocket plus drawstring hems. Lightweight trousers are also available for use in warmer conditions.
