DC2E: Deployable Command and Control Equipment

You already have Front/Rear DC2E Displays - why did you introduce the DC2E Side Mounted Display System?

This product differs from the previous models due to its screen display. The new Extra Large Front Projection Screen Display is meant for the sidewalls of a J Series Shelter. Other DC2E (Deployable Command and Control Equipment) displays set up at either end of a DRASH Shelter.

Alluding to the system as Front/Rear, simply describes the placement of the projector. At this time, DRASH only offers a front projector for the side mounted display.

Overall, the new display system enhances mobility throughout a DRASH J Series Shelter. Because other DC2E (Deployable Command and Control Equipment) display systems are set up at either end of a DRASH shelter, the user is limited in their ability to connect one shelter to another. With the new design, users are able to interconnect shelters to form a larger operations center.

What features are included in the DC2E Display Systems?

All display systems are equipped with a screen, a projector, frame sets, and transportable cases. The systems are designed for mobility and are fully functional in harshest environments.

Extra Large Front Projection Screen Display

Have you added any new features to the DC2E Side Mounted Display System?

Yes. The DC2E Extra Large Front Projection Screen Display is our first that supports the 16:9 aspect ratio natively. This improves compatibility with many new computer resolutions.

We have also revised the projector-mounting bracket to simplify and shorten the amount of time required to align the projector to the screen surface.

We also utilized a new frame system for the screen surface that simplifies setup, improves setup time, and eliminates loose fastener hardware that could be misplaced.

Are there any additional features available to suit the specific requirements of a client?

Regardless of its size, the Extra Large Front Projection Screen Display packs down tightly into four lightweight cases. Setup time for entire system is less than 30 minutes using four people. No tools are required.

Is the DC2E Side Mounted Display System only compatible with DRASH Shelters?

Although this product is intended for the DRASH J Series Shelter, the Extra Large Projection System can also be used in any facility that is large enough to accommodate its dimensions.
